Do you feel American History is properly addressed in public school? |
![]() "History, in general, only informs us what bad government is." American HistoryFew of us Americans are very concerned with or knowledgeable of history in general, let alone the history of our own country. It is particularly unfortunate that truly accurate history is hard to come by even when we do take care enough to learn. This often results in an inaccurate view of our country's past which emphasizes questionable material and ignores pertinent information. The information presented in this section of the site will not be what is frequently taught in school; one can acquire that account of history almost anywhere. This section will cover the neglected aspects of our history that directly contribute to the nation's current situation. All information that is presented has been thoroughly researched and is believed to be accurate, but it is, as always, prudent for you to take the time to verify it for yourself. In this way, the information will act as a guide for you on your quest to understand our country, and it will not stand alone as absolute, undeniable truth. The truth resides in the original documents or events as they happened; it does not reside in this or any other interpretation or second-hand source that is inherently subject to bias. "A morsel of genuine history is a thing so rare as to be always valuable."
- Thomas Jefferson, 1817. Putting it in ContextHistory is always defined by some type of conflict, and because of this, there are always at least two sides with at least two accounts. The winner of the conflict is the author of history. Though this is a truth that most people recognize, it is still much easier to accept history as it is presented to us by a professor or a book without questioning it or attempting to put it into its complete historical context. "The public history of all countries, and all ages, is but a sort of mask, richly colored."
- John Quincy Adams, 1822. Being aware of context is particularly important when investigating the history of our country. This is because throughout our nation's past common citizens have not been in a position to ensure that an unbiased, accurate account of history is the account presented to the general public. And those common citizens who do attempt to produce such accounts of history are unlikely to influence a meaningful portion of the population. This means that for the better part of the last 140 years, the accepted view of history is one profoundly influenced by powerful interests with purposes contrary to those of a common citizen. Government secrecy and the results of years of purposeful and sometimes unintentional misdirection have inevitably led us to accept the accounts favored by powerful corporations, the modern media, and the corporations that are currently acting in place of government. "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."
- Matthew 7:20, Fortunetly for those of us with enough interest and diligence, a more accurate account of history can still be uncovered because of the trail that it has left. Uncovering this trail and thoroughly investigating it with careful regard to historical context will illuminate how we the people of this country have become subject to the undue authority of various corporations and how these corporations have amassed considerable wealth from us and power over us. This investigation can be accomplished by analyzing various primary sources without resorting to speculation or theory. "How soon we forget history... Government is not reason. Government is not eloquence. It is force. And, like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action."
Corporations as "Government"Read MoreAn important aspect of understanding our country today and our current situation is understanding the true nature and history of the corporations that most Americans perceive to be federal, state, and local governments. Because this is so fundamental to making sense of everything that goes on in our country today, this issue is summarized, documented, and thoroughly addressed in a number of ways on the following pages: Corporations as "Government" - An introduction to the true nature and history of the corporations acting as government. Corp U.S. - The complete history of how the federal government was lost to the rule of a corporation. State Corporations - How the governments of the 50 states formed their own corporations. Original Jurisdiction Government - The government originally created by the Constitution.U.S.A. vs Britain Read MoreIt is generally acknowledged that the war for independence ended over 200 years ago, but it can be argued that certain British interests have never ceased in waging a silent war against the interests of the people of the United States. We may not have British soldiers enforcing the rule of the king anymore, but British influence via banking establishments and their eventual offspring is stronger than ever. The powerful banking interests had continually watched this country for any weaknesses to exploit until they found ways to begin quietly influencing our country from within. We won the war for independence, but we failed to be vigilant enough to keep our hard-earned freedom. How our nation has allowed oppressive, privately-owned, banking institutions such as the Federal Reserve to control nearly every aspect of our banking and monetary system is one neglected aspect of our history that every citizen should be aware of. Is this cycle evident in our nation's history? Does the asterisk below (*)identify where the nation currently finds itself? "The history of nations shows that the cycle of the body politic slowly but surely undergoes change... It progresses –
The location where this quote was found on the internet provided two possible people to whom it could be attributed, and my own further research found even more.
