If what we have percieved as government is actually a corporation, then we should address it as such and not as "government." Corporations as "Government"Today in the United States, there exist thousands of corporations acting in place of government. Federal, state, and even most local "governments" are corporations that we the people have unwittingly allowed to function as our legitimate governments and act with governmental authority. Over the course of the last 130 years, the results of allowing corporations to fill this vital role have proven disastrous for the American people in almost every way. Unfortunetly, most of us live unaware of how this system works, so it has been allowed to continue operating in a way that is contrary to our interests and the interests of nations with which our "government" interacts. This section of OurCivicDuty.com exists to document how this oppressive system has become an intricate part of almost every citizen's life, raise awareness of how this system works, explain why this system does not benefit the people, and reveal what can be done once we become aware. SummaryThe following summary is a very brief account of how these corporations were created and how they evolved. A considerable amount of detail is left out, but for those interested in learning more, a complete documented account of this history is available here. During he Civil War, Abraham Lincoln declared martial law to help the North get the support necessary to win the war. This gave the president the ability to act independently of congress to do anything that was not inconsistent with the Constitution. A corporation was then created to fulfill the business needs of the government under martial law during the aftermath of the war. This corporation (known hereafter as Corp. U.S.) acted alongside the actual government (known as the original jurisdiction government) as the government found itself increasingly in debt. Soon the government needed to make good on the loans it had taken from foreign banks and secure enough money to continue operating as the people’s government or risk the integrity and future of the entire United States. Those who had financed the loans offered a deal... Implementation of the Federal Reserve System in 1913 was that deal. The original jurisdiction government seats were vacated and officers of the government were seated only in their corporate capacity. The corporation mirrored the government in almost every possible way. From 1871 until 1913, officers were seated in these two distinct capacities: "original jurisdiction" and "corporate." Since 1913 the country has not had anyone seated in the original government created by the Constitution. Then in 1944, Corp. U.S. was quitclaimed to the International Monetary Fund, solidifying foreign control. In a sense, control had been handed back to the same injustice that the Revolutionary War was meant to end. The individual states soon found it prudent to form their own corporations in order to better conduct business. Today, almost every level of government is a corporation.
